Who we are
DRide.bg is a family-run car rental company that has been keeping travellers on the move for more than a decade. What began as a handful of cars serving Sofia Airport has grown into five pickup points in four cities — Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas — but we still run the business the way we did on day one: personally, transparently and with genuine care for the people behind the wheel.
Renting a car in an unfamiliar place can feel like a gamble. Our job is to make it wonderfully boring: a clean, freshly serviced car waiting where it should be, a contract without fine print, and a real person picking up the phone when you need help.
What we stand for
- Transparent pricing. The price you see is the price you pay — VAT, standard insurance and mileage are always included. No airport surcharges, no surprise fees at the desk.
- Safety without compromise. Every car is serviced on schedule, fitted with season-appropriate tyres and inspected, cleaned and refuelled before every single rental.
- Flexibility. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup, one-way rentals between our cities and extras — from child seats to zero-excess insurance — added in one click.
- Real support. 24/7 roadside assistance is included with every booking, and our team is one phone call away, seven days a week.

Our fleet
We deliberately keep the fleet young, diverse and fully equipped: nimble city cars like the Renault Clio, the benchmark Volkswagen Golf, the self-charging Toyota Corolla Hybrid, the go-anywhere Dacia Duster on economical LPG, the electric Tesla Model 3 and the chauffeur-grade Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Every car comes with unlimited mileage and a valid Bulgarian e-vignette.
Sustainability is not a slogan for us — half of the current fleet runs on hybrid, electric or LPG power, and charging the electric cars at our Sofia offices is free.
